Asmaa Alanbari is a curator, visual artist & art director interested in the narration of stories through art, design and place-making.  She designs immersive cultural events using her background in architecture, fine art & socio-economics.

Committed to intercultural dialogue and the preservation of natural and cultural heritage she is Iraqi born & brought up in France & the UK. She addresses universal issues with design and metaphor.  

Numerous collaborations include The Saatchi Gallery, The French Culture Institute of the UK and contribution to the 17th Edition of the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2022).

Alanbari also has a fine art practice anchored in dovetailing colour with light through layering & transparency. She holds postgraduate degrees from Chelsea College of Art, The London School of Economics and L’Ecole Speciale d’Architecture Paris.
