TEACHING

Alanbari’s curriculum “Self Development Through Art” dovetails mindfulness with mark-making. In the aim of finding their own personal visual language, students are encouraged to be experimental and playful. Although lessons have a component of art history and analysis of contemporary art practices, the accent is put on the importance of the art making process rather than the end result. Students are also invited to give critical feedback to one another.
